Abingdon Monday 5 a side news - match day 12

In yesterday's exhilarating matches at our Abingdon Monday Football League, we were treated to incredible football action across Divisions 1, 2, and 3. It was week 12 of the season and the true form of the teams was on full display.

DIVISION ONE

Division 1 saw some high-scoring encounters. Only Put Matip In proved to be the marauding force, defeating Keown's Own 8-1 in a one-sided affair. The Six Offenders and The Broad Beans finished 5-5 in a pulsating draw that had us on the edge of our seats. Meanwhile, FC Unts scraped past Local Benchwarmers in a closely contested 4-3 victory.

DIVISION TWO  

Over in Division 2, the competition was equally fierce. Eze Top 3 edged out Gorking Wanderers 6-5 in a thrilling contest while Cunning Stunts managed a narrow 4-3 win over Sons Of Pitches. However, the highlight of the division was the formidable Rejects FC, who dominated Pathetico Madrid 8-4, making their mark as the top scorers of the division. In the other game Sam Powell scored a hat-trick as Intaynan won a entertaining contest 5-3 against Only Kruls And Horses.

DIVISION THREE

Division 3 didn't disappoint either, with the high-flying Fiorentina Turner outplaying Survey Monkeys 6-3. Xavi Dodgers stole the show with an impressive 12-3 victory over Hardly Athletic, making them the top scorers of the division. Optek Utd comfortably defeated Casuals 5-0 and His Mind FC closed out the night with a resounding 6-0 win against Bumfica. She Was Only XI also enjoyed a solid 2-0 win over Schofield's to complete our round up!
