Abingdon Monday 5 a side news - match day 14

The Abingdon Monday 5-a-side Football league concluded its 14th week last night with some thrilling matches and exceptional performances across all three divisions.

DIVISION ONE

In Division 1, Keown's Own dominated Local Benchwarmers with an 8-1 victory as they launch a formidable charge for safety. Elsewhere, Royal Madrid defeated Ange Summers 4-0 while The Broad Beans clinched a well-deserved 6-3 victory over Only Put Matip In. However, the highlight of the night was the encounter between The High 5 and FC Unts, with FC Unts bagging an impressive 9 goals to The High 5's 3 in a thrilling display of high-octane football.

DIVISION TWO

Division 2 offered equal excitement as Only Kruls And Horses beat Rejects FC 5-3 while Sons Of Pitches outplayed Intayanan with a 6-2 triumph. In a tight contest, Expected Toulouse FC were narrowly defeated by new team Osama 4-3,and Eze Top 3 secured an emphatic 9-5 victory against Pathetico Madrid.

DIVISION THREE

Division 3 saw its share of remarkable performances as well. Fiorentina Turner outperformed Casuals 4-2 and in a high-scoring encounter, Survey Monkeys beat Bumfica 7-5. The performance of the night, however, was She Was Only XI's impressive 7-0 win against Hardly Athletic. Schofields U15s also managed a solid 4-0 win against Optek Utd while Xavi Dodgers clinched a tight game against His Mind FC with 3-2 win.

This week's results have certainly reshaped the league tables and have set the stage for an intense and captivating next round of fixtures with the title on the line still across all three divisions. Stay tuned for more updates from the Abingdon Monday 5-a-side Football League.
