Abingdon Monday 5 a side news - match day 15

In the most recent matches of our Abingdon Monday 5-a-side Football league, there were some thrilling games that kept us on the edge of our seats.

DIVISION ONE  

In Division 1, Keowns Own and new team Blacks N Akhs battled fiercely, with the latter edging out a 3-2 victory. The High 5 put on a riveting performance against Local Benchwarmers, emerging victorious with a 7-5 win. The Broad Beans cooked up a 6-4 win over FC Unts to go second. Only Put Matip In dominated Ange Summers with an 8-0 victory while the big game at the top was Royal Madrid secure a 4-2 win over The Six Offenders to move to the summit. The title remains a three horse race with Madrid, The Broad Beans and Six Offenders all within two points of each other with three games remaining.

DIVISION TWO

Over in Division 2 we also have new leaders as Cunning Stunts outplayed Eze Top 3, winning 8-2 to knock them off top spot. Expected Toulouse FC beat Rejects FC 5-3, Osama triumphed over Sons Of Pitches in a high scoring 10-6 match and Pathetico Madrid breezed past Only Kruls And Horses with a 10-3 victory. Intayanan ended the day by shutting out AgeDoesntMata 4-0.

DIVISION THREE

In Division 3, Bumfica and She Was Only XI locked horns with Bumfica emerging as the victors with a 3-1 win. Casuals brushed past Survey Monkeys with a 4-1 victory, Leaders His Mind FC handed a crushing 10-0 defeat to Schofields U15s and Optek Utd worked hard for their 4-2 win over Hardly Athletic to move into the top two.

The Abingdon Monday league continues to excite and enchant us with its unpredictable and dynamic matches. Everyone is eagerly waiting for the next week's matches and the twists and turns they will bring. The title races across all three divisions are very much alive with three games to go!
