Abingdon Monday 5 a side news - match day 17

The 17th week of the Abingdon Monday 5-a-side Football league was a thrilling one, with high scoring matches across all three divisions.

DIVISION ONE  

In Division 1, The Broad Beans delivered a stunning display against The Six Offenders, outclassing them with a resounding 8-2 victory. Royal Madrid was in peak form too, blanking Gorking Wanderers in a 7-0 win. Backstreet Moyes also showed their prowess by beating Intayanan 4-0. However, the biggest margin of victory in this division went to FC Unts, who ran riot against George Street Bastards, ending the match 7-1.

DIVISION TWO  

Division 2 saw no less action. Been About It FC edged Cunning Stunts in a tight contest that ended 5-3. Survey Monkeys upset AgeDoesntMata, winning 6-3 in a high-scoring match. In one of the most thrilling matches of the night, Only Kruls And Horses pipped Only Put Matip In 8-6. Hardly Athletic also proved their mettle with a 7-5 triumph against Goals Aloud.

DIVISION THREE

Over in Division 3, Schofields U15s dominated Adam Johnsons U9s 6-2. Rejects FC won a fiercely competitive match against The Jefecitos, ending 6-4. Kick It In The Net-ics managed to keep a clean sheet against Casuals, winning 3-0. His Mind FC narrowly lost to Bumfica 1-0. Expected Toulouse FC comfortably beat Fiorentina Turner 10-0 to stay second on goal difference, with Rejects leading the table going into the final week.
