Abingdon Monday 5 a side news - match day 2

In the riveting world of the Abingdon Monday 5-a-side Football League, the action reached a fever pitch in week two, with some teams solidifying their dominance and others notching their first wins of the season.

DIVISION ONE

In Division 1, Only Put Matip In secured a decisive 5-2 victory over Cunning Stunts, while champions Royal Madrid outscored Intayanan 6-3 in a high-octane match. The Six Offenders marked their territory with a 4-1 win over The Broad Beans.

DIVISION TWO  

Entering the Division 2 spotlight, FC Unts turned up the heat, defeating Local Benchwarmers 12-4 in a one-sided battle that saw FC Unts move into second spot. 

DIVISION THREE

In Division 3, Expected Toulouse FC triumphed 7-3 over His Mind FC while Pathetico Madrid recorded a 4-2 win against Fiorentina Turner. Sons Of Pitches outscored Only Fools And Forklifts 9-4, hitting the top spot.

DIVISION FOUR

Optek Utd managed a narrow 4-3 win over Ange Summers in Division 4, while Tescos Finest came out on top with a 12-3 victory against Guehi Pride. Xavi Dodgers edged out BarcaBoneHer in a closely fought 3-2 game.

DIVISION FIVE

In Division 5, Casuals emerged as top scorers after their 12-3 victory over AgeDoesntMata. The contest between Bumfica and Hardly Athletic ended in a 2-2 draw, while Matty And The Colonisers came out on top with a 6-1 win against Survey Monkeys.

All in all, it was a week of high drama and intense competition in the Abingdon Monday 5-a-side Football League. As the season progresses, one can only expect more of the same.
