Abingdon Monday 5 a side news - match day 3

The Abingdon Monday 5-a-side Football league lit up the night with an exhilarating series of matches in Week 3. Teams from Divisions 1, 2, and 3 showcased great sportsmanship and skills, providing us with an unforgettable footballing spectacle.

DIVISION ONE  

In Division 1, The Broad Beans emerged as the dominant team, defeating Sheffield Thursday with a decisive 4-0 victory. Royal Madrid also performed exceptionally well, outmanoeuvring George Street Bastards for a 5-2 win. The most thrilling match, however, was between Only Put Matip In and FC Unts, which ended in a high-scoring 7-3 triumph for FC Unts.

DIVISION TWO

Moving onto Division 2, Expected Toulouse FC fell short against Cunning Stunts, who clinched a 5-1 victory, while Age DoesntMata were defeated 7-2 by Eze Top 3. The intense battle between Intayanan and Pathetico Madrid ended in a 4-4 draw, as did the match between Gorking Wanderers and Rejects FC but 6-6, both proving to be nail-biting encounters.

DIVISION THREE

In Division 3, Hardly Athletic displayed excellent form by defeating Bumfica 5-1. The biggest win of the night was secured by new leaders Kick It In The Net-ics who beat Survey Monkeys 8-0. The Jefecitos and His Mind FC also achieved wins with 2-1 and 5-2 scores against She Was Only XI and Fiorentina Turner, respectively. The game of the night in Div 3 was an entertaining 4-4 draw between Schofields and Casuals.

Undoubtedly, this week's action-packed fixtures have set the tone for an exciting season ahead in the Abingdon Monday 5-a-side Football league. We can look forward to more thrilling encounters as the season progresses.
