Abingdon Monday 5 a side news - match day 5

In the thrilling world of local football, the Abingdon Monday 5-a-side league showcased a great spectacle in its 5th week, with surprising results and impressive performances across its five divisions.

DIVISION ONE  

In Division 1, Cunning Stunts emerged as the victors in an impressive win against reigning champions Royal Madrid with an impressive 6-0 victory. A fierce battle between Only Put Matip In and The Broad Beans ended in a 2-2 draw, while The Six Offenders outplayed Intayanan with a 5-2 victory, displaying skillful and strategic gameplay.

DIVISION TWO

Division 2 was no less exciting. FC Unts dominated the field with an 8-2 win over Only Kruls And Horses, while Osama defeated Local Benchwarmers 11-4 in a high-scoring game. Pablo Escoballers beat Keowns Own 5-1, showing their strength and determination.

DIVISION THREE

In Division 3, the match between Pathetico Madrid and Expected Toulouse FC ended in a 1-1 draw. His Mind FC showcased a brilliant performance against Only Fools and Forklifts, securing a 4-1 victory with remarkable technique.

DIVISION FOUR

The excitement continued in Division 4, where Tescos Finest triumphed over Ange Summers with a 7-5 win. The game between Optek Utd and BarcaBoneHer ended in a 1-1- draw while Guehi Pride fell short against  Xavi Dodgers ending in a 12-5 loss.

DIVISION FIVE

The action in Division 5 saw AgeDoesntMata outperform Hardly Athletic with a 7-2 win. Casuals narrowly defeated leaders Matty And The Colonisers in a tight 1-0 win while Bumfica and Survey Monkeys ended in a 1-1 draw, demonstrating their evenly matched skill and game strategy.

While the league continues to be unpredictable and exciting, the top scorers for each division this week have been Cunning Stunts (Division 1), Osama (Division 2), His Mind FC (Division 3), Xavi Dodgers (Division 4), and AgeDoesntMata (Division 5).
