The Abingdon Monday 5-a-side Football league saw some thrilling action in its fifth week, with teams from Divisions 1, 2, and 3 showcasing their football prowess and strategic skills.

DIVISION ONE

In Division 1, the match between The Broad Beans and Royal Madrid ended in a 4-4 stalemate, while the game between Wolves FC and The Six Offenders also ended with an identical scoreline. The fight for the top spot in Division 1 continues to intensify, with both these games showcasing high-quality football.

DIVISION TWO

Division 2 witnessed an impressive performance by Pathetico Madrid, who managed to secure a 4-2 victory over Cunning Stunts. However, the highlight of the week in this Division was Been About It FC's phenomenal 11-2 triumph over AgeDoesntMata to go top of the table. Rejects FC and Intayanan also had strong victories, winning their matches 9-3 and 5-2 respectively. Only Kruls And Horses also won their game against Gorking Wanderers by a close 2-1 margin.

DIVISION THREE

The action continued in Division 3, where Hardly Athletic's 6-1 victory over Schofields U15s and Fiorentina Turner's remarkable 10-1 win over Bumfica made the headlines. In other matches, Kick It In The Net-ics and Xavi Dodgers ended their game with a 4-4 draw while She Was Only XI comfortably defeated Survey Monkeys 5-0. His Mind FC also secured a 5-2 victory over Casuals.
