Abingdon Monday 5 a side news - match day 6
The Abingdon Monday 5-a-side Football League reached its exciting sixth week with spectacular performances across all divisions.
DIVISION ONE
In Division 1, Royal Madrid spectacularly overtook Wolves FC with a thrilling score of 7-3. The high-octane match solidified Madrid's strong position in the league as they moved up to second. Only Put Matip In demonstrated an equally strong performance with an impressive 7-4 victory over The Broad Beans. The Six Offenders dominated Sheffield Thursday with a standout scoreline of 7-1 while FC Unts edged out Lighthouse FC in a closely contested match ending at 4-3.
DIVISION TWO
Division 2 also saw an array of impressive matches. Rejects FC outmatched Only Kruls And Horses with a convincing 6-2 win to move into the top two. Pathetico Madrid faced a tough blow against Eze Top 3, who triumphed with a 11-6 scoreline. AgeDoesntMata couldn't withstand the offensive onslaught from new leaders Cunning Stunts, losing the match 6-1. Intayanan had a strong performance against Been About It FC, winning 7-2. Gorking Wanderers secured a good win over Expected Toulouse FC with 6-3 on the scoreboard.
DIVISION THREE
Division 3 was no less exciting. Fiorentina Turner triumphed over Casuals 4-1 while Survey Monkeys suffered a 4-0 defeat due to Bumfica's robust defence. Hardly Athletic fell to She Was Only XI with a score of 7-1. His Mind FC showed their mettle, beating Xavi Dodgers with a 5-3 victory as their impressive start to the season continues.
It's clear that the league has been packed with action, excitement and superb displays of football talent. As we look forward to next week's matches, the competition is heating up with plenty of football still to be played this year.
