Abingdon Monday 5 a side news - match day 7

In the Abingdon Monday Football League, Week 7 produced an array of spectacular matches across three divisions, with teams showcasing their dexterity and determination to claim victory.

DIVISION ONE

In Division 1, The Six Offenders topped the chart with an impressive 6-4 win against Only Put Matip In, setting the tone for their forthcoming games. Despite a spirited performance from Only Put Matip In, a robust attack from The Six Offenders led to a deserving victory. In the other match, The Broad Beans registered a resounding 32-0 win over new boys Local Benchwarmers, marking the highest scoring game for the week.

DIVISION TWO

Moving to Division 2, Expected Toulouse FC outplayed Pathetico Madrid with a 6-3 victory. Their staunch defence coupled with precise strikes made them the winning side. In a similar vein, Only Kruls And Horses beat Eze Top 3 with a 15-6 victory.  Intayanan put up a tough fight against Cunning Stunts, although the latter pulled off a narrow 3-2 win in a nail-biting finish.

DIVISION THREE

In Division 3, Survey Monkeys and Xavi Dodgers gave us a thrilling end to end game, with the latter eventually clinching a 7-5 victory. She Was Only XI edged past Kick It In The Net-ics with a narrow 2-1 win in a closely contested match. Meanwhile, His Mind FC displayed a commendable performance against Hardly Athletic to move to the top of the table, securing an 8-4 win. The other game saw Casuals overcame Bumfica with a 3-1 scoreline.

With plenty of the season left, it's all to play for. The league tables are set to witness some more vigorous competition in the coming weeks.
