Abingdon Monday 5 a side news - match day 8

Hot on the heels of the electrifying event last night, the Abingdon Monday 5-a-side football league moves into week 8 of the season, showcasing a series of thrilling matches across Divisions 1 to 5.

DIVISION ONE

In Division 1, The Broad Beans showcased their football prowess with an impressive 4-2 victory over Cunning Stunts. The Six Offenders also had a strong showing, pulling off a 4-1 win against Royal Madrid. However, Only Put Matip In proved to be the stars of the night, defeating Klopps And Robbers 5-1 in a one-sided affair.

DIVISION TWO

Division 2 saw a thrilling showdown between Keowns Own and Local Benchwarmers, with the former emerging victorious, at a 5-3 score.

DIVISION THREE  

In Division 3, Only Fools And Forklifts dominated the field with a 4-1 win over Expected Toulouse FC. Pathetico Madrid outplayed Sons Of Pitches with an 8-4 triumph while Fiorentina Turner fell short against His Mind FC, ending at 6-4.

DIVISION FOUR

Division 4 witnessed close-knit matches, with BarcaBoneHer narrowly defeating Ange Summers 3-2 and Tescos Finest scraping past Xavi Dodgers 6-5. Optek Utd, however, clinched a landslide 7-1 victory over Guehi Pride.

DIVISION FIVE

Division 5 saw Survey Monkeys clinch a solid 3-0 win over Hardly Athletic, while Bumfica and Casuals ended the game on neutral ground with a 2-2 draw.

With only two weeks left in the season, teams across all divisions must step up their game to secure their positions in the table. As the season is nearing its end, all eyes are trained on the upcoming fixtures. Teams, be ready for more action-packed evenings!
