Club Tropicana Drinks closing in on Monday 5 a side title

A great night of 5 a side down at Tilsley Park Abingdon last night with all teams in attendance.

At the top of the Premier League it's Club Tropicana Drinks that continue to make waves as they stay on course for the title. Last night they secured a 8-2 victory over Substandard Liege who look to be heading back to Div 1 after an excellent season there to gain promotion last time around. Coopers Troopers move up into the runners up spot as they followed up last weeks win with another, this time beating Victorious Secret 7-3. After last weeks narrow loss Hadland Rovers had a narrow win of their own this week as they beat Scorgasm 4-3 while new team Class on Grass found it tough going as they fell to a 12-0 defeat to FCUOB.

In Div 1 we also have run away leaders as Bunch of Bench Warmers move towards the title and promotion. With a tough match in store they managed to see off the challenge from second place Hardly Athletic and win 6-3. 3rd place Cunning Stunts fell to a 8-4 loss to Survey Monkeys who climb out of the bottom two while in other matches Savills beat Chubby Goons 9-3 and there was a big 16-1 win for Crixus as they defeated Pique Blinders 16-1.
