More fantastic matches at Abingdon Monday 5 a side

Another awesome night of 5 a side football at our Abingdon Monday league. 

There are some really close and entertaining matches taking place each week at the top of the Premier League making Monday nights super competitive for the top teams in the league. Still out in front are Hadland Rovers who defeated Class On Grass 6-2, for a team that is second bottom Grass put in a top performance to grab a couple of goals and give the leaders a game. Second place Coopers Troopers stay a point behind after a 7-4 victory over Bunch of Bench Warmers. The game of the night came between 3rd place Fruity Spartans and 4th place Club Tropicana with Spartans taking the points in a 9-7 win. In the other two matches Hardly Athletic won 3-1 against Victorious Secret while Young Guard beat Expected Toulouse 11-3. 

Onto Div 1 and leaders FCUOB came out on top in an end to end encounter with Basically Barca to win 8-6. Shlong Hanborough moved up into the top two as they beat the team in second at the start of play Substandard Liege 5-3. In the other league match Pique Blinders had a 7-2 win over Tass while Savills and Cunning Stunts both had points match wins.
