5 a side side at its best at Abingdon Thursday

We had 5 a side football at it's best at our Abingdon Thursday night league with end to end stuff and high scoring games. 

We start in the Premier League where Narcos picked up an amazing 12-11 win over Mandy's Boys. It's fantastic to see such close and high scoring matches taking place in the Premier League. It's proving really competitive this season, even Nathan Collins FC have lost a match although they were winners on Thursday night as they took a 9-3 victory against Chicken Tikka Mo Salah. The other two matches were also really close as Murder On Zidanes Floor defeated Fat Fighters 5-4 to go second and Arselona took the points against Xavi Dodgers 6-4.

Who is going to win Div 1 ? Wouldn't like to place a bet on it to be honest with three team all now on 16 points at the top. New leaders on goal difference are Exeter Gently who won a cagey game with Milan 1-0, not a scoreline you'd normally associate with a 5 a side match but it was enough to take them top after The Laddington Bears caused an upset with a really impressive 7-0 victory over Jewventus who drop to third place. Eagles United are now second as they beat Carlos Puhol 9-2 while Megs Fit won a 11 goal thriller with Borussia Teeth 6-5.
