Aaron Has Cankles top Abingdon Thursday 5 a side

Another fine night of 5 a side down at Tilsley Park as our Abingdon Thursday league reached match day 5. 

The big match in the Premier League saw Aaron Has Cankles take on reigning champions Nathan Collins FC. Cankles were in top form as they took the win and the points to go two points clear at the top winning 6-2. An off night for the champions but as always they will bounce back. There is a couple of spaces in the Prem and Carlos were away so the rest had points match wins.

In Div 1 the steam train that is Wootton FC march on hitting double figures in their match with Out On Bale as they won 10-4 to keep their 100% record in tact. Narcos picked up a points match with the lads from Jewventus away at the Reading festival so Narcos took on Laddington Bears in a friendly, There was a fantastic match in the other game as Xavi Dodgers and Borussia Teeth shared a 5-5 draw while Stella Artois moved out of the bottom two as they took on Eagles in a points match.

The top two in Div 2 had relatively comfortably evenings as FC Hog defeated The Pie Eaters 8-1 to stay two points clear of SWXI. SW won their match with The Sweaty Stockman 15-4 while there was also a win for Megs Fit who beat Zircotekkas 5-3 to move up to fourth. Finally Avengers Assemble picked up a points match as they took on Fat Fighters in a friendly.
