Abingdon 5 a side Thursday results on it's return!

It was great to have all 16 teams back at our Abingdon Thursday night 5 a side league at Tilsley Park after we came to the end of the countries second lockdown on Wednesday. 

Nathan Collins came back with a bang hitting double figures against a strong Mandy's Boys side to win 10-4 and stay 2 points clear at the top. Fat Fighters who had a excellent win last time out against Nathan Collins picked up another impressive victory as they narrowly defeated Chicken Tikka Mo Salah 4-3 to move up to second. Murder On Zidanes Floor took their chance to rise to third as they defeated Xavi Dodgers 6-2 while the other result was a 9-4 win for Narcos against Arselona.

The race is very much alive for the Div 1 title as Jewventus stay two points clear with a 5-1 win over Borussua Teeth. Both the chasing teams also picked up wins to stay within striking distance as Eagles won an entertaining encounter with The Laddington Bears 6-5 while Exeter Gently beat Megs Fit 6-3. The other match in the division saw Milan secure a 5-2 win over Carlos Puhol.
