Abingdon Thursday 5 a side match night report!

All teams were in attendance last night at our Abingdon Thursday night 5 a side league at Tilsley Park. We are also pleased to welcome new team Blewbarians who will start next next week. 

Nathan Collins FC extended their lead at the top of the Premier League after a 6-3 win over Narcos gave them some clear daylight at the top. It was good to see Chicken Tikka Mo Salah back, was actually concerned that their captain Joe was ok when they didn't appear last week, so unusual for them. Thankfully he's fine however Exeter Gently didn't make it a happy return as they took the points in a 4-3 win. Eagles United are up to third place as they moved above Fat Fighters with a 11-3 win over them. Xavi Dodgers won for the second week running to give their survival hopes a shot in the arm as they won 8-5 against Murder On Zidane's Floor. 

Carlos Puhol are getting closer and closer to the perfect record this season as they sealed an 11th win in a row this season to sit top of Div 1 on maximum points. Last night they won 6-3 against Arselona. The Laddington Bears are comfortably installed in second place as they beat Mandy's Boys 5-1. Stella Artois are 4 points adrift in third but did secure a 3-0 victory against Megs Fit while Borussia Teeth enjoyed another win in a productive season for them as they defeated Jewventus 3-2.

Another team edging towards a perfect season long 100% record are Wootton FC who sit top of Div 2. They won 7-1 against The Pie Eaters. Ballers FC won a 11 goal thriller with Zircotekkas 6-5 to stay in second. Zubry Oxford had a points match win while FC Hog beat SWXI 7-2 to finish our results round up.
