Abingdon Thursday 5 a side news - match day 3

In the thrilling midweek fixtures of Abingdon Thursday 5-a-side Football League, Division 1 witnessed some high-octane football action. The third week of the season saw Teenage Mutant Ninja Skrtels, RealSoSoBad, Nathan Collins FC, and FC HOG walk away with victories while delivering some unforgettable moments.

DIVISION ONE  

Teenage Mutant Ninja Skrtels demonstrated their dominance in a 7-2 victory over Ange Summers to rise to the top of the table. The Skrtels' blistering attack was too much to handle for the Summers who fought hard but could not match their opponents' intensity.

RealSoSoBad stood up to their name by proving they're anything but bad in an impressive 5-2 triumph over The Pie Eaters. Their victory resonated around the division, making them a team to watch in the coming weeks.

Nathan Collins FC put up a goal fest, defeating Bola Boys 8-4 in a match that was a real treat for us all. Their offensive prowess was on full display and they've certainly made their intentions clear for the rest of the season, Bola Boys put in a solid display but it wasn't quite enough to threaten a win against the multiple time champions Collins.

In an equally exciting match, reigning champions FC HOG managed to overcome Narcos FC 6-4. In a game that was marked by tenacity and determination, both teams put up an incredible fight, but it was FC HOG that emerged victorious.

As we move into week 4, these results have set the stage for an exciting next round of fixtures in Division 1 of the Abingdon Thursday 5-a-side Football League. With such intense competition, it's a spectacle none will want to miss.
