Abingdon Thursday 5 a side news - match day 4

The fourth week of the Abingdon Thursday 5-a-side football league saw an exciting line-up of matches with players putting their best foot forward to make their mark in Division 1.

DIVISION ONE

The evening began with the thrilling match between Ange Summers and FC HOG, where FC HOG emerged victorious with a score of 7-4. FC HOG's dynamic offensive strategies were key to their impressive win over Ange Summers.

Next up were Bola Boys against Narcos FC in what turned out to be a closely contested match. Bola Boys managed to clinch a 5-3 victory, highlighting their strong teamwork.

Nathan Collins FC had a comfortable evening against Bacuna Matarta, where the former scored an astonishing 17 goals against the latter's single goal. This result has undoubtedly solidified Nathan Collins FC’s position in the league as they move to the top for the first time this season.

In the final match of the evening, Teenage Mutant Ninja Skrtels faced RealSoSoBad. In a gripping end-to-end encounter, RealSoSoBad managed to secure a 5-3 win to keep them within touching distance of the top.

The Abingdon Thursday league continues to offer thrilling matches every week and this week's results have only amplified the excitement for the rest of the season. As we head into the mid-point of the season, it's clear that the competition in Division 1 is heating up, with teams gearing up for an intense battle for the top spot.
