Abingdon Thursday 5 a side news - match day 9

In week 9 of the thrilling Abingdon Thursday 5 a side Football League, Division 1 teams gave a spectacular show on the pitch, pushing their limits and delivering high-scoring games. We with a little bit of a delayed start due to a accident on the A34 which delayed the refs and some teams but we managed to get through the games, thank you to everyone for your patience.

DIVISION ONE

Ange Summers and The Pie Eaters kicked off the evening in a tense match. The Pie Eaters managed to edge out Ange Summers in a close encounter, ending the game 3-2. Both teams showcased remarkable skill and strategy, setting the tone for the rest of the action-packed night.

Meanwhile, new team Saka Potatoes and Teenage Mutant Ninja Skrtels clashed in a thrilling game that ended in a 5-5 draw. Both teams displayed relentless attacking play, resulting in a spectacular but evenly-matched game.

In another intense match, Bola Boys and RealSoSoBad battled it out to a 4-4 draw, demonstrating the highly competitive nature of this division.

However, the highlight of the evening was the high-scoring match between Narcos FC and Nathan Collins FC. Nathan Collins FC, with their unyielding offensive strategy, dominated the game, defeating Narcos FC with an impressive 11-2 scoreline to stay top.

As we move into the second half of the season, the stakes continue to rise in Division 1 of the Abingdon Thursday league. We look forward to next week's matches!
