Abingdon Thursday 5 a side returns after Christmas break!

Following on from a return to action for our Wednesday league, Abingdon Thursday 5 a side was back last night. All teams were in attendance along with new team Didcot FC who we welcome to the league.

The top two teams both picked up big wins as FC Hog went top of the table on goal difference. Their victory came against The Pie Eaters with the final score 12-0 to the new leaders, Nathan Collins will still feel confident of retaining their title though as they saw off Narcos 10-3, captain Harry Stanley scoring 6 times in the win to earn himself the MVP award. Xavi Dodgers are up to third after edging a close game against Realsosobad 4-3. There was a win for new team Didcot FC as they defeated Megs Fit 3-1 while the game of the night saw Queens Teens Rovers and Zircotekkas share a 5-5 draw. Zircotekkas forward Finlay Bryan securing the MVP award with a hat-trick in the game.
