Abingdon Thursday 5 a side season begins!

The new Abingdon Thursday night 5 a side season got underway at Tilsley Park last night on a lovely evening for football.

The early leaders in the Premier League are Murder On Zidanes Floor who got their season off to a flyer with a 13-2 win against new boys Arselona to put them top on goal difference. Champions Nathan Collins didn't have it all their own way against newly promoted Fat Fighters who put in an excellent performance before going down 9-4 to Collins. The other matches in the division were close as Xavi Dodgers overcame Tropical Vibes 5-4 while Chicken Tikka Mo Salah won 4-2 against Narcos.

Milan started off their Div 1 campaign with a win to go top as they saw off the challenge from Norwich to win 9-5. Exeter Gently hold the other promotion spot after game one with a successful start to the league as they beat Eagles 7-3. There was also wins for Carlos Puhol, 6-2 against The Laddington Bears and Jewventus beat Megs Fit 4-2.
