ABINGDON THURSDAY 5 A SIDE ROUND UP

Match day 10 saw seven more excellent games at our Thursday league with all teams in attendance as usual. The leaders survived a scare while the chasing teams piled the pressure on. Here's a look at the results:

PREMIER LEAGUE

As mentioned Nathan Collins were given a tough test by William Warriors who sit in mid table. They produced a dogged display to almost take a point however Collins narrowly won it 4-3 in the end to stay top. FC Hog remain in second place after a 9-3 win over Milf Hunters while third played fourth as George 249 met Didcot. George 249 had forward James Pearson in red hot form as he scored four times to help them to a 8-5 win which see's them swap places with Didcot in the table. 

In other results Murder On Zidane's Floor won 6-3 at Last Chance Salloon, Queens Teens Rovers won 6-1 away at Realsosobad while Narcos went goal crazy, winning 16-5 at Xavi Dodgers. Finally Pool And Rum are now up to 7th after a 9-5 win at The Pie Eaters.
