Exeter Gently climb back into top 2 at Abingdon 5 a side

Thank you to all teams at our Abingdon Thursday night 5 a side league. Unfortunately there was a couple of sides not able to attend last night but they are returning next week. 

At the top of the Premier League Nathan Collins FC continue to lead after their 5-0 points match win last night. Champions Bacon Sane remain two points behind after they defeated Xavi Dodgers 16-3. Moving up into 3rd place are promoted side Tekkerslovakia who won their match with Narcos 4-1. Jewventus had a points match so picked up a 5-0 win. Thank you to the teams that stayed on to play the points matches.

In Div 1 we saw a return to the top two for Exeter Gently who bounced back from their defeat to Fat Fighters last week to beat Megs Fit 8-3. Fat Fighters still remain the team to beat in the division and they stay top after a tough 5-3 win over Geri Hat-tricks. In the other matches there was some good wins for teams towards the bottom of the table against teams in the top half as Carlos Puhol defeated Milan 5-4 while Eagles United beat Laddington Bears 6-2.
