FC Hog go top of Div 2 at Abingdon Thursday 5 a side

It was a great night of 5 a side down at Tilsley Park in Abingdon as our Thursday evening league entered match day 3. All teams were in attendance apart from FC Romania who failed to appear for their match. They have been contacted and will be returning next week. We welcomed new team Sweaty Stockman to the league and also Out On Bale will be joining us next week. 

Aaron Has Cankles made it three wins on the bounce at the top of the Premier League as they won 7-2 against Eagles to join Nathan Collins at the top on 6 points, Collins picking up a points match win. Carlos Puhol picked up their second win of the season with a 7-2 victory against Laddington Bears while Fat Fighters also earnt themselves a points match win.

Wootton FC continued their impressive run of form as they made it a total of 17 wins in a row following on from their Div 2 title run last season. It wasn't easy though in a tight game as they beat Stella Artois 1-0. Borussia Teeth and Narcos both had points match wins while the other game between Jewventus and Xavi Dodgers ended in a 3-3 draw.

FC Hog are red hot favourites for the Div 2 title this season and they showed it with dominate display against Zircotekkas winning 19-0. SWXI had a points match win due to FC Romania not appearing. In the other matches Megs Fit won their first game of the season with a 10-5 victory against new team Sweaty Stockman while The Pie Eaters and Avengers Assemble drew 3-3.
