New Abingdon Thursday night 5 a side season kicks off!

We kicked off the new season down at Tilsley Park last night with the start of our Abingdon Thursday 5 a side league. All teams were in attendance apart from Out On Bale who will be returning next week. We do have one spot left to fill in Div 1 so please get your team signed up and we'll get you in for next week.

Former champions Nathan Collins FC who finished runners up last season started this one with a bang beating FC Hog 8-2 to go top of the Premier League. Carlos Puhol provided the shock of the opening night as they edged a tight contest with reigning champions SWXI 4-3. With Div 1 champions Out On Bale away, Eagles took on Narcos in a points match win.

In their league game Narcos went straight to the top of Div 1 with a 12-5 victory over Sweaty Stockman, new team Realsosobad enjoyed a points match win while Eat Sleep Lose Repeat came out on top in a great game with Xavi Dodgers 5-3.

The Pie Eaters recorded a big win to top Div 2 as they defeated Man Titty 7-1. The other two games were much closer as Zircotekkas beat Gylfi Pleasures 5-3 and Megs Fit won away to new boys Savills Wanderers 3-2.
