Week 3 results from Abingdon Thursday 5 a side

It's going to be an interesting title race in both divisions this season at our Abingdon Thursday 5 a side league at Tilsley Park. The bigger divisions mean teams will only play each other once this season so a good or poor run of form could easily win you a title or land you in a relegation fight.

Currently sitting at the top of the Premier League are SWXI who enjoyed a 10-5 victory against Eagles United. Ye Mon have also picked up 3 wins as they impressed during a 7-4 victory over Wootton FC who have found it tougher in the Prem after back to back promotions. Carlos Puhol are looking good this season as they defeated Xavi Dodgers 14-3 while there was a fantastic match between FC Hog and Narcos as Hog got the win 7-6.

There are 3 teams in Div 1 who have opened up the season with 3 victories. Abingdons FC are top of the tree on goals scored as they won 7-3 against The Pie Eaters last night. Out On Bale picked up a points match win with new team Benson unable to start now until next week. Sweaty Stockman have also won all 3 of their games as they sealed a 9-6 win over Zicrotekkas. Eat Sleep Lose Repeat and Megs Fit both won for the first time this season as Repeat beat Gylfi Pleasures 9-4 and Megs won 4-0 against Burton's Boys.
