It was another excellent round of matches again last night as our Wednesday night 5 a side teams in Abingdon ticked off week 6 of their brilliant season. 

With nearly all our 18 teams there, Dean and his team managed the evening brilliantly and we saw some amazing games. 

PREMIER LEAGUE

Goring GOBS picked up a good win over Alfredians this week to remain 2nd in the top flight. Top Vs Bottom went the way of a 5 - 0 points win for Botley Wanderers while FCUOB had the same score from their scheduled game against MNDM FC who were absent and will now leave the league. We have a team lined up to come in though so hopefully the Premier League will remain settled for the rest of the season.

DIVISION ONE

There was a brilliant 5 - 5 draw between Star Dogs and Botley's Finest in Division One while Basically Barca got the better of FC Proseshionals 5 - 3 to edge a point infront at the top. Slough Posse picked up their 2nd win of the campaign with a solid 9 - 3 win over Abingdon's Finest. 

DIVISION TWO

The goals also flowed in Division Two where there were good wins for Serious Heat and Outer Milan. The Heat beat Ale Stars 9 - 6 while OGM were undone by Outer Milan 6 - 4. Maragonna kept a rare 5 a side clean sheet in their 3 - 0 win over Black and White who unfortunately had a player sent off for raising his hands to an opponent. The player will now serve a 2 week ban and have to pay a fine before returning to action. Play nice or don't play at all, it's pretty simple.
