Abingdon 5 a side Wednesday match day report!

It was a bit of a mixed night at Tilsley Park last night with 5 teams pulling out at late notice which is really unusual for the league at Abingdon. Abingdon must be a hotspot for United fans, lol. Probably wishing they'd played instead after that shootout loss. Thankfully all teams managed to get a game and there were some great matches still.

At the top of the Premier League Kogs's Angels produced a fantastic display to inflict just a second defeat of the season on Hagdons winning 7-4. This gave Ye Mon a chance to claw back a couple of points which they did due to a points match win. There was also a point match win for Hassan while The More got their first win with a 5-1 victory over Jezzys.

Bayern Neverlosen extended their lead at the top of Div 1 to 3 points as they won a points match with Zidanes not being able to attend at late notice. This allowed Shaktar to move back into the top two as they overcame Ale Stars 5-0. The Mighty Ducks also had a points match win while Fernando Tories defeated Spread The Play 4-2, Spread The Play still stuck in the drop zone but will face Ale Stars next week who they are just a point behind. A relegation 4 pointer in 5 a side terms. 

Chamakh My Pitch Up still lead the way in Div 2 as they won a tricky match with Pathetico Madrid 4-2. Second place FC Spangled secured the win by virtue of a point match with Brads Formula being away. Club De Cot went third in the table with a 11-2 win over bottom side Unremarkables FC who have been showing signs of improvement in recent weeks with a few goals of their own. Finally Crouchy United lost out in a 11 goal thriller going down 6-5 to Kipsta FC.
