Abingdon 5 a side - Wednesday Round up

Week 3 of this Wednesday night 5 a side season at Abingdon is done and dusted and we saw some interesting games.

We do need some new teams here so spread the word amongst your footballing contacts, this is a great venue and we have some excellent teams, we just need more commitment to get this league full and to make sure that games are competitive every week.

So to last night and Socios won 10 - 7 against Sprean the Play while Chamakh edged a close game with Exeter Gently 2 - 1. Crouchy Utd came away on the wrong end of a 9 - 4 result against Nice Guys and Hot Cross Buns picked up an 8 - 2 win over Unremarkables. The highlight of the night was a 6 - 5 win for Pathletico over Slough Posse.

Silly Buggers lead the prem from The Mighty Ducks in 2nd while it's Chamakh holding the top spot in Division One following 3 wins for them. Golas Allowed are 2nd. Division Two is lead by Murder on Zidanes Floor with Pathetico keeping them company in the promotion spots.
