Abingdon Wednesday 5 a side news - match day 2

In the second week of the Abingdon Wednesday 5-a-side Football league games, teams in the Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2 divisions battled it out for supremacy on the field.

PREMIER LEAGUE  

In the Premier League, the match between Basically Barca and Spraggys Chopper FC ended in a close contest with a scoreline of 6-5 in favour of Spraggys Chopper FC. In another closely-fought game, Ballotellitubies emerged victorious against Hangover 96, with a final score of 6-4. However, the match between The Mighty Ducks and FCUOB, ended in a 6-2 loss for the former, securing a strong win for FCUOB.

DIVISION ONE

In Division 1, Maragonna claimed victory over TerryBell FC, finishing at 5-2. The highest-scoring match of the week was between Tedrooney Gfc and Serious Heat, ending in a thrilling 11-7 victory for Tedrooney Gfc. Big Justice FC also secured a clean 4-0 victory over Slough Posse FC, showcasing their strong defensive skills.

DIVISION TWO

Division 2 saw Shy Teds FC defeat Pickle FC with an impressive 10-4 victory. Ale Stars triumphed over JET FC, scoring 8 goals to their opponent's 2. The closely contested match between Spoonies FC and Park The Airbus ended in a 3-3 draw, showing off the strong competitive spirit in this division.

The top performers of the week were undoubtedly Spraggys Chopper FC, Tedrooney Gfc, and Shy Teds FC for their impressive wins in their respective divisions. Their top scorers were instrumental in securing these victories, showing off exceptional skills and teamwork on the field.
