Abingdon Wednesday 5 a side news - match day 3

The fervour of football was in the air as Abingdon Wednesday, a 5-a-side league, showcased its week three matches. Teams from three divisions - Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2 - put on a spectacular show, dishing out remarkable goals and breath-taking moments.

PREMIER LEAGUE

In the Premier League, Basically Barca triumphed over GigaMadrid with a 10-5 scoreline. The Mighty Ducks gave a resounding performance against TerryBell FC, securing an impressive 11-1 win. Hangover 96 also emerged victorious by beating Slough Posse FC with a score of 7-3.

DIVISION ONE

In Division 1, Maragonna seized a 7-5 victory against Ale Stars, while FCUOB marked an impressive 7-2 win over Spoonies FC. UTFH and Spraggys Chopper FC concluded their match in a thrilling 6-6 draw.

DIVISION TWO  

Division 2 saw JET FC dominating the field against Pickle FC, with an overwhelming 25-1 score, setting a record for the most goals in this season. Serious Heat managed an 8-3 win over Shy Teds FC, whereas Tedrooney Gfc beat Park The Airbus 5-2.

The exhilarating week of football offered a great mix of top-tier competition and camaraderie, showcasing the spirit of the Abingdon Wednesday League. We are eagerly looking forward to the upcoming matches, anticipating more action and extraordinary performances.
