In a thrilling evening of football action, the Abingdon Wednesday 5 a side League moved into its fourth week showcasing breath-taking moments, incredible goals, and nail-biting finishes.

PREMIER LEAGUE

In the Premier League division, Hangover 96 edged out Basically Barca in a tightly fought contest, winning 2-1. The match was a thrilling encounter with both teams demonstrating excellent skill and teamwork. Yet, it was Hangover 96 who reigned supreme, overcoming their opponent with a one-goal lead.

The Premier League also saw Ed Morey Driving School FC deliver a phenomenal performance against The Mighty Ducks, winning 12-5. This victory reflects their dominance in the league.

DIVISION ONE

Moving on to Division 1, Ale Stars demonstrated their football prowess against Serious Heat by securing a resounding 5-0 victory. TerryBell FC also put on a commendable show against Maragonna, winning their game 7-3. 

DIVISION TWO

Division 2 added to the drama of the evening, featuring some high-scoring encounters. Bacuna Matarta narrowly overcame Tedrooney Gfc with a thrilling 9-8 victory. However, it was Park The Airbus who stole the show, defeating Spoonies FC with a stunning score of 17-4. Additionally, Spraggys Chopper FC triumphed over JET FC with a 7-3 win.

As the Abingdon Wednesday League moves into its fifth week, each team is looking to further assert their dominance, promising more exciting football in the weeks to come.
