The thrilling Abingdon Wednesday 5 a side Football league is now in its fifth week, and the excitement is undeniably palpable. The league, divided into the Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2, has seen some extraordinary performances this week.

PREMIER LEAGUE

In the Premier League, the Ballotellitubies made a grand statement by convincingly defeating Spraggys Chopper FC with a staggering 10-3 scoreline. Not to be outdone, Tedrooney Gfc triumphed over Big Justice FC with an impressive 12-7 victory. Meanwhile, The Mighty Ducks did justice to their name as they outshined Basically Barca with a remarkable 8-2 win, setting the tone for the intense competition that lies ahead.

DIVISION ONE

Over in Division 1, the competition is heating up with FCUOB emerging victorious over Park The Airbus with a 5-2 win. Maragonna also showed their class beating Shaggers United 7-3. The most significant victory was by Shy Teds FC who displayed exceptional offensive prowess, defeating Hangover 96 7-0.

DIVISION TWO

In Division 2, Slough Posse FC managed a comfortable 7-2 win over Ale Stars. However, the highlight of the division was the clinical performance by Spoonies FC who ran riot against Pickle FC with a 19-1 victory. Likewise, The B480 were also in fine form as they defeated JET FC with a dominant 13-2 scoreline.

As we move forward in the season, the leagues are shaping up for some intense battles. The top scorers from each division, notably from the Ballotellitubies, Tedrooney Gfc and Spoonies FC, showed off their football skills this week and are the ones to watch in the next rounds. These teams have truly set the bar high for the rest of the season, promising more nail-biting matches.
