Abingdon Wednesday 5 a side news - match day 6

In the latest round of the Abingdon Wednesday Football League, the teams stepped onto the field for the sixth week of the season, ready to battle for every point available.

PREMIER LEAGUE  

In the Premier League division, Ballotellitubies delivered a masterclass performance, mercilessly defeating The Mighty Ducks 8-1. The match was surely a triumph for Ballotellitubies, who demonstrated their prowess with a scoreline reflecting their domination to leapfrog Ducks to the top of the table. Basically Barca maintained their winning streak and strengthened their position with a decisive 8-3 victory over Tedrooney GFC. Big Justice FC, unfortunately, fell to Spraggys Chopper FC in a landslide loss, where Spraggys Chopper FC won 13-4, cementing their place as the top scorers of the division.

DIVISION ONE

In Division 1, the matches were closely contested. FCUOB managed to narrowly edge out Shy Teds FC with a final score of 5-4. In a similarly close game, Hangover 96 was edged out by Shaggers United 6-5, proving that every goal counts in this season's competitive Division 1.

DIVISION TWO

Finally, in Division 2, The B480 squeaked by Ale Stars with a scoreline of 2-1, while Spoonies FC managed to secure a comfortable win over JET FC, defeating them 4-2. However, the star of Division 2 this week was Slough Posse FC, who shut out Pickle FC 5-0, making them the top scorers in the division.

As the matches concluded, it was clear that the teams are pushing their boundaries, striving for excellence and leaving no stone unturned in the quest for the championship. The following weeks are expected to bring more thrilling games and impressive performances.
