Abingdon Wednesday 5 a side news - match day 7

In the heart-pounding world of local football, the Abingdon Wednesday 5-a-Side League saw its seventh week of competition, with teams from the Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2 divisions leaving it all on the field.

PREMIER LEAGUE  

In the Premier League, Basically Barca demonstrated their football prowess with a stunning 5-1 victory over Hangover 96, showing off their offensive tactics and robust defence that has kept them in the limelight this season. The Mighty Ducks and Ballotellitubies match was a thrilling ride, with Ballotellitubies narrowly edging out a 7-6 win in a match that kept us on our toes. However, it was FCUOB and Spraggys Chopper FC's match that stole the show, with Spraggy's Chopper FC emerging victorious with a 6-4 scoreline.

DIVISION ONE

Down in Division 1, Tedrooney Gfc and The B480 created quite the spectacle, with Tedrooney snatching a 6-5 win in the end. Big Justice FC and Shaggers United kept things exciting with a 7-6 final score, Big Justice FC coming out on top. Meanwhile, Slough Posse FC couldn't quite keep up with Maragonna, who claimed a decisive 5-1 victory.

DIVISION TWO

Lastly, in Division 2, Ale Stars dominated Pickle FC with an impressive 10-2 win. Spoonies FC and JET FC battled it out in a closer contest, with JET FC clinching a 3-2 win. Park The Airbus and Shy Teds FC's match was a nail-biter, with Park The Airbus winning 5-4 in a close competition.

As we move into the eighth week of the season, the excitement and the tension remain high. In the Abingdon Wednesday 5-a-Side Football League, anything can happen, and every match is a must-see.
