Abingdon Wednesday 5 a side news - match day 8

In an adrenaline-fueled week 8 of the Abingdon Wednesday 5-a-side Football League, teams battled in the Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2.

PREMIER LEAGUE

In the Premier League, Basically Barca triumphed over GigaMadrid with a score of 5-3. The Mighty Ducks put on an impressive display against TerryBell FC, dominating the field with a 7-2 victory. Meanwhile, Hangover 96 and Slough Posse FC duelled to a 2-2 draw, in a match that had us on the edge of our seats.

DIVISION ONE

In Division 1, Maragonna edged out Ale Stars with a narrow 4-3 win. Spoonies FC demonstrated a strong offensive game by scoring 10 goals against FCUOB's 5. Big Justice FC, in an electrifying match, secured a 10-4 victory against Spraggys Chopper FC, showcasing their formidable skills.

DIVISION TWO

JET FC and Pickle FC locked horns in Division 2, which saw Pickle FC obtaining a 6-4 victory. Shy Teds FC, in a nail-biting match, were narrowly defeated by Serious Heat with a score of 3-2.

As the season nears its end, each team is aiming to secure their place for the next season. Their performances have been nothing short of breath-taking, and we anticipate an even more exciting finish to the season.
