Abingdon Wednesday 5 a side - WEEK 9 RESULTS

One of Abingdon's premier 5-a-side football leagues, known as Abingdon Wednesday, unveiled its ninth-week results last night, with teams across three divisions striving for glory. The league, consisting of Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2, saw a high-adrenaline play & tight games leaving everyone eager for the next round of fixtures.

In the Premier League, Ed Morey Driving School FC faced off against Basically Barca, in a nail-biting contest that ended in a 4-4 draw. Elsewhere in the division, Holdmybeer triumphed over The Mighty Ducks, taking home a hard-fought victory with a score of 8-6.

Moving on to Division 1, the power dynamics shifted significantly. FCUOB's solid performance led them to a 3-1 victory over Ale Stars. A thrilling clash between Maragonna and Slough Posse FC saw the latter edge out a 3-2 win. However, the most decisive victory in this division came from Serious Heat, who dominated Park The Airbus, scoring five goals to their opponent's one.

In Division 2, an absolute thriller saw TerryBell FC and AFC Deez Whites sharing the spoils in a 7-7 draw. Borussia Snortmund dispatched Hangover 96 with a convincing 7-3 victory, while JET FC narrowly lost to Real SoSoBad in a high scoring contest, finishing 8-7.
