Fantastic contest as Ye Mon stay top of Abingdon 5 a side

Thank you to all teams on another great evening of 5 a side down at Tilsley Park Abingdon. 

At the top of the Premier League Ye Mon just about got the win in a tough contest with Murder On Zidanes Floor. They were made to work for their win as Zidane pushed them all the way but eventually went down to a 8-6 defeat. That win keeps Ye Mon 5 points clear as second place Horspath Massive fell to a 4-0 defeat to Fatzio. Up into 3rd are DFC who beat Binos FC 9-3 while there was a big 10-1 win for Saky Thirds over Abingdons.

In Div 1 it is still very tight at the top. Leaders Ale Stars drew with Rafacakes in a low scoring affair which ended 1-1. This would allow Slough Posse to go level on points with them if they could manage a win in their match with BTEC Moscow. They duly went about their business and got that win by 8 goals to 3 to go level. Just a point behind in 3rd are Hardly Athletic who beat You've Been Tangoed 6-1 while The Mighty Ducks climb to 4th with a 4-1 win against The Pie Eaters.
