NEW SEASON LAUNCHED IN ABINGDON

Our Wednesday night 5 a side league in Abingdon kicked off another brand new season last night with just a couple of places now available. Interested teams can jump in and join the action with an immediate start available next Wednesday. We have added the golden boot to our league this season so even more reason to get yourselves playing asap to not lose ground on the competition. 

The Prem launched with a points win for Champions Socios as Mighty Ducks were missing but Botley Wanderers who finished 2nd last season did get going with a strong 11 - 3 win over promoted RMT. 

Division One served up some high scoring games with Bagotelli winning 9 - 4 against Appleton Red while Murder On Zidanes Floor picked up a 6 - 4 win over Slough Posse. Maragonna also scored 6 in their win over Ale Stars which ended 6 - 3. 

Division Two kicked off with a big win for Appleton White who won 12 - 2 against Serious Heat while Wenger Boys went even better winning 15 - 0 against Wynters Wish. Goring picked up a 5 - 0 points win as Savills were away. 

Big thanks to all the players for getting out there last night in fairly grim conditions, great stuff from the officials too in a very challenging night for them. We look forward to a better forecast next week and hopefully the last couple of places will go in the top flight.
