NEW SEASON UNDERWAY IN ABINGDON

So good to be launching another brand new season of 5 a side in Abingdon last night with an almost full line up of teams ready to get cracking with the new campaign. We have an 18 team strong set up with 3 divisions of 6 and were delighted to welcome back a couple of returning teams with FCUOB and Basically Barca both part of the new season. We had plenty of goals on match night one as you can see from the results below.

So plenty of goals and well played to the following players who bagged a hattrick or better this week. Matt Hardwick, Kyreece Martei, Harry Chadwick and Aaran Mudie in the top flight, Jofe Shafe, Jason Rich, Jamie Vickery, Kyle Rawlings, Joe Parish and Sam Keogh in Division One and Jamie Killner, Mason Jones, Dan Hartley and Sean Weston in Div Two. Some great strikes amoungst them and a brilliant start to the season for our Wednesday Night teams.

Big thanks to Dean and the team of refs for putting in a brilliant shift this week. Hopefully this can be one of the best seasons so far in Abingdon, we are certainly off to a flying start.
