Towcester Monday 6-a-side: Goals for days!

The Towcester Monday 6-a-side league brought us some more terrific action this week, with goals all over the place.

We kicked off the action with a cracking fixture between the top two that lived up to the billing. League leaders Last in the Kitchen and second-placed Boca Seniors threw everything at each other, but at fulltime they just couldn’t be separated as the ten-goal thriller ended in a 5-5 draw. 

Champaigne Super Rovers went about their business, beating Towcester Young Boys 4-2, before Pooventus put on an incredible show, crushing WNC 11-4 for their first win of the season. 

Ivory Toast calmly dispatched Is Your Motherwell 5-0. The round ended with another intense clash between Hardly Athletic and Vectors Army. The former showed grit to overcome a tough opponent to win 4-3 and climb into third place.
