WEEKLY UPDATE FROM THE TOWCESTER MONDAY LEAGUE 18TH FEB

Another good evening in the Towcester Monday league with all teams in attendance apart from Bottom Of The league Utd. Credit to them as they did call head office and give the required 7 days notice so we were aware of their unavailability. Unfortunately the team which had agreed to play their opponents changed their mind on the day and left them with no opponents to play so I must apologise to Dead Ballers for this. However, we can confirm that Bottom Of The League Utd will be back as normal for this Monday`s fixture.

The league itself saw Champaigne Super Rovers take the high ground in the league as they defeated Blakesley 5-1 to move top courtesy of a goal difference of +17 after only 2 matches.

Match of the evening was an end to end encounter between Ruud Van Nipplejoy and Legends Of Towcester with Ruud claiming the victory by 4 goals to 3 to keep their 100& start to the season intact.
