LEAGUE CANCELLED ON 16TH JUNE DUE TO ENGLAND GAME

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE LEAGUE WILL BE CANCELLED ON SUNDAY 16TH JUNE FOR ONE WEEK DUE TO THE ENGLAND v SERBIA EURO 2024 GAME TAKING PLACE ON THIS DATE.  WE WILL RETURN AS NORMAL ON SUNDAY 23RD JUNE AS PER THE FIXTURES.

In the high-stakes Premier League, Alton Wanderers FC clinched a decisive 3-1 victory over Chiellini Con Carne, with the unstoppable Matt netting a total of three goals to claim the top scorer title. Cadballerz managed a narrow win against Chivas Supplemento, ending the game at 1-0, while DADS ARMY defeated Brothel FC with a 3-1 scoreline.

Division 1 saw some fierce competition with UCHEBALL overcoming METCH FC 5-3. A standout performance from Jacob Bennett, who scored two goals, earned him the top scorer accolade in this division. SB Generals were narrowly beaten by Broderick AFC, ending their game at a 1-0 scoreline.

The Division 2 matches were equally intense. Robben Me Blind and AFC Domi Force ended in a 3-3 draw, while ECFC pulled off a 5-2 victory over Sharkys Saints. Ruben from ECFC stole the show, netting a remarkable three goals to become the division's top scorer.

In Division 3, Sevilla Tism FC claimed an astounding 9-2 victory over Dead Ballers FC, while Gary Glitchards Gorgeous Guys managed a 1-0 win over Top Gs. Division 4 saw both Kathys Boys and Brummie Boys FC secure 2-0 victories against Athletics and White Horse FC respectively.

The seventh week of the Birmingham Sunday League certainly provided a captivating display of skill and sportsmanship as teams battled it out on the field. With the league moving forward, the anticipation for the upcoming weeks is palpable. After all, the beautiful game never fails to surprise us.
