Sunday 10th March - University of Birmingham Round-Up

It was a good evening's football overall in the University of Birmingham Sunday 6 a side league this week.  We did have a handful of absentees owing to Mothers Day, but look forward to seeing the league get back to normal this weekend.

In the Premier League division, DADS ARMY steamrolled past Chiellini Con Carne with a decisive 5-0 victory. Elsewhere, Damo Carew narrowly edged past Cadballerz 3-2 in a fiercely-fought battle. Real Pasante continued their impressive run of form with a 5-0 triumph over METCH FC.

Down in Division 1, Alton Wanderers FC emerged victorious against Gangsters Allardyce with a solid 4-2 win. Chivas Supplemento, meanwhile, managed to secure a narrow 2-0 win over Monopolads Fc.

In Division 2, Broderick AFC trounced Gary Glitchards Gorgeous Guys 4-0, while Diamond Scrubs managed a narrow 2-1 victory over Chivas Primera. The surprise result of the night undoubtedly was Sharkys Saints' impressive 5-0 win over Dead Ballers FC.

The excitement continued in Division 3, where AFC Domi Force registered a thumping 6-0 win over Leavemyarcelona. Meanwhile, BigFatDave FC edged past The Cotters in a closely contested match with a 3-2 victory. TMA and Top Gs played out a 2-2 draw in an evenly contested game.

In Division 4, Kathys Boys secured a narrow 2-1 win over Brummie Boys FC, and Jonah Is Better Than Messi FC showcased their dominance with a 9-0 victory over White Horse FC.

In Division 5, Hangin managed to outscore Finding Timo with a 4-1 victory, marking an exciting conclusion to the 9th week of play.
