Sunday 16th February - University of Birmingham Round-Up

It was a good evening's football overall in the University of Birmingham Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night barring a couple, who will be spoken to accordingly.

Kicking off with the Premier League, the Avengers Assombalonga stood toe to toe with Chivas Supplemento, with both teams securing a point apiece in a 1-1 draw. DADS ARMY, meanwhile, displayed an impressive offensive play, defeating Chiellini Con Carne 4-1, with Joe Hunter of DADS ARMY stealing the show as the top scorer in the division, netting three goals. Sevilla Tism FC had a 5-3 victory over Jiggy Jiggy United, showing their attacking prowess.

In Division 1, a tight contest between 3 Small Plates FC and Gary Glitchards Gorgeous Guys resulted in a 1-1 stalemate, while Chivas Primera narrowly edged past METCH FC with a 2-1 victory. The Hungry Boys gave an overwhelming performance, defeating Unathletico Bilbao 9-3, with the match's highlight being Christian of 3 Small Plates FC, emerging as the division's top scorer.

Division 2 saw some big victories with Diamond Scrubs outperforming Shlongball in a 6-2 win, and HARAM BALL dismantling Dead Ballers FC 8-0. Jim from Diamond Scrubs emerged as the top scorer in this division with three goals to his name.

Lastly, in Division 4, I Put My Heart In This displayed an excellent defensive game, defeating 6 LITTLE BIRDS FC 2-0, while Dilshads United dominated their game against Inter Ya Nan Fc, with a 7-1 victory.
