Sunday 18th August - University of Birmingham Round-Up

It was a good evening's football overall in the University of Birmingham Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches barring two.  Stevie Wonders and Jose 6 have confirmed they will be back in attendance for the next round of fixtures on Sunday 25th August, and we look forward to welcoming them back.

In the Premier League, Cadballerz put on a stellar show, defeating Alton Wanderers FC 3-0. Ivan, the star player of Cadballerz, was the highlight of the match as he netted two goals making him the top scorer of Premier League this week. The other team in action was Chiellini Con Carne who secured a 3-0 victory over Brothel FC. DADS ARMY also exhibited a dominant performance by thrashing SB Generals 6-0.

Over in Division 1, the matches were closely contested with Ghana FC and AFC Domi Force settling for a 1-1 draw. The same scoreline was observed in the match between The Hungry Boys and Chivas Primera. The star of Division 1 was Tony of Red Hotpot, who netted 2 goals leading his team to a 4-0 triumph over WhyAyewRunning.

Moving onto Division 2, Sevilla Tism FC outclassed Kathys Boys with a 5-1 victory. Gary Glitchards Gorgeous Guys scraped past Sharkys Saints with a narrow 2-1 win. Phil of Robben me Blind distinguished himself by scoring 2 goals, securing his position as the top scorer of the division.

Finally, in Division 3, Dead Ballers FC and Bocat Army played out a thrilling 3-3 draw, while Leavemyarcelona edged past BOSHERS FC with a 1-0 win. Shaggers and 3 Small Plates FC ended their match in a 1-1 stalemate.
