Sunday 18th February - University of Birmingham Round-Up

It was a good evening's football overall in the University of Birmingham Sunday 6 a side league this week,  There were however a handful of cancellations on the night in the lower divisions, we welcome all back on Sunday 25th February.

In an exhilarating Week 6 of the Birmingham Sunday 6-a-side Football League, the Premier League Division saw a fierce contest as Cadballerz edged out Athletico Northfield with a 2-1 victory. Ivan, the top scorer, played a pivotal role in Cadballerz win, netting two crucial goals.

Division 1 was no less thrilling, with Alton Wanderers FC clinching a narrow 2-1 victory against Chivas Supplemento. Monopolads FC's 2-2 draw with Robben Me Blind featured an exceptional performance from Omar, who scored both goals for Monopolads FC, securing his position as Division 1's top scorer.

In Division 2, Broderick AFC dominated the pitch with a 5-1 win over Dead Ballers FC. The division's top scorer, Gary Bennett of Chivas Primera, managed to find the back of the net twice, showcasing his goal-scoring prowess.

The competitive spirit continued into Division 3 where TMA bagged a 2-0 victory against Leavemyarcelona, and Sevilla Tism FC triumphed over The Cotters with a 4-2 victory.

Division 4 was equally intense, with Circumcised United securing a 3-1 win against Brummie Boys FC. Jonah Is Better Than Messi FC also emerged victorious, defeating Shaggers with a 2-0 scoreline.

The energy was high in Division 5 as well, with Tampons Should Be Free and Invictus FC both securing 1-0 wins against Hangin and Finding Timo respectively.

As we move into Week 7, teams across all divisions will be looking to build on their performances and climb up the league standings. With the top scorers firing on all cylinders, the coming weeks promise more thrilling football action.
