Sunday 19th January - University of Birmingham Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the University of Birmingham Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches barring a handful of cancellations.  We look forward to seeing all teams back with us on Sunday 26th January.

In the Premier League division, Cadballerz and Avengers Assombalonga locked horns in a thrilling 1-1 draw while DADS ARMY dominated GamingSoc in a 7-0 victory. Chiellini Con Carne also had a convincing 5-2 win over Chivas Primera. The standout player of the division was Joe Hunter of DADS ARMY, who found the back of the net four times.

Over in Division 1, AFC BIGFATDAVE suffered a narrow 1-2 defeat against Chivas Supplemento, while AFC Domi Force triumphed 4-1 over Unathletico Bilbao. Tristen from Chivas Supplemento was the star player with a tally of two goals.

In Division 2, Sharkys Saints crushed Road To GC with an impressive 6-1 win, thanks to Ben who scored a hat-trick. Other matches saw 3 Small Plates FC edge out Robben Me Blind 2-1, while Only Goals FC defeated Shlongball 3-1 and Diamond Scrubs lost 2-3 to HARAM BALL.

Meanwhile, in Division 3, Team Z went down 0-2 against 6 LITTLE BIRDS FC, while The Cotters managed a 2-1 triumph over Pitch Black. Dead Ballers FC also secured a 2-0 victory over I Put My Heart In This.

In the lower Division 4, Moseley Magpies lost 0-3 to Jiggy Jiggy United, and Steel & Iron squeezed past Dilshads United with a 1-0 win.
