Sunday 23rd June - University of Birmingham Round-Up

It was a good start to the new season in the University of Birmingham Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches throughout the night, the only exceptions strangely being White Horse and Athletics who were due to play against each other in Division Three, both will be spoken to and confirmed to return for the next round of fixtures.

In the Premier League, SB Generals began the season with a 1-0 victory over Alton Wanderers FC. Broderick AFC edged out DADS ARMY 2-1, showcasing a promising start. Brothel FC outperformed Chivas Supplemento with a 3-0 win, while Cadballerz narrowly triumphed over Chiellini Con Carne 1-0.

Action in Division 1 saw AFC Domi Force winning 3 -2 against Up The Cru, UCHEBALL defeating Chivas Primera 2 - 1, and Ghana FC securing a 2 - 1 over METCH FC.

The excitement continued in Division 2 with Top Gs defeating Diamond Scrubs 1-0 and Gary Glitchards Gorgeous Guys dominanting The Cotters with a 6-0 victory. Sharkys Saints triumphed over Kathys Boys with a 5-1 win, and Sevilla Tism FC secured a 3-0 victory over Robben Me Blind. Alex of Sharkys Saints emerged as the top scorer for Division 2, netting an impressive 4 goals.

Finally, Division 3 saw a draw between Shaggers and BOSHERS FC (1-1), while Brummie Boys FC secured a 3-1 victory over Leavemyarcelona. Jose 6 and Dead Ballers FC played a goalless draw.
