Sunday 7th April - University of Birmingham Round-Up

It was another good evening's football in the Birmingham Sunday 6 a side league this week overall.  We had a couple of teams unable to make their fixture but look forward to seeing them return this weekend.

In the top-tier Premier League, Cadballerz and Athletico Northfield played out a 1-1 draw in a fiercely contested match. Chiellini Con Carne emerged victorious with a 2-0 win over METCH FC, while DADS ARMY continued their fine form with a 3-0 triumph over UCHEBALL.

Division 1 saw Alton Wanderers FC secure a 2-0 win against Chivas Supplemento, while FDL FC and Up The Cru shared the spoils with a 2-2 draw. In an emphatic display, SB Generals decimated Tekkaslovakia V2 with a 14-0 scoreline.

The action continued in Division 2, where Henry Mules of Sporting Stirchley FC stole the spotlight with a hat-trick, leading his team to a 4-0 win over Gary Glitchards Gorgeous Guys. Meanwhile, Broderick AFC overcame Dead Ballers FC 4-0, and The Hungry Boys secured a 4-1 win against Diamond Scrubs.

In Division 3, Sevilla Tism FC and The Cotters served up a seven-goal thriller, with the latter edging the win 4-3. BigFatDave FC and AFC Domi Force, as well as ECFC and Top Gs, both settled for 1-1 draws.

Finally, in Divisions 4 and 5, Jonah Is Better Than Messi FC fell 2-0 to Shaggers, while Kathys Boys succumbed to a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Moist Blankets FC. Shabaab FC saw a heavy 10-4 defeat to Athletics, and Finding Timo clinched a narrow 2-1 win over Invictus FC.
